Dear Parents/Guardians,
This term, there will be a Primary choir under the direction of Nicola Williams. Practices will be held every Thursday from October 22nd to December 3rd. Choir members should come in the front door of the school at 8:10 AM and make their way to the North Gym. Practices will run from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM. I encourage all primary students who enjoy singing to participate and to sing to the best of their ability. The focus will be on:
Learning new songs
Working as a member of a large group
Enjoying making music together.
There will be 7 choir sessions in all. We will perform for our parents and friends on Thursday, December 3rd at 6 pm in the Hopewell Central Gym. Student participation is voluntary but if a child chooses to join the choir, I expect regular attendance and arrival on time. We want to do a warm-up all together.
