Christmas, carols, community and more! No sooner do we turn the calendar page to November, it seems the world around us sets its collective eyes on Dec. 25.
Your neighbourhood churches want you to know we hope you will be able to catch your breath in the midst of the hustle and really enjoy these next few winter months. Shorter days, colder temperatures and sprinting towards New Year’s don’t have to translate into stress or dampened spirits.
For the third year in a row, Calvary Baptist Church and Celebration! Church Ottawa are teaming up to bring some music, laughter, and festive fun to your Christmas celebrations. We want to give the neighbourhood a chance to sit back and enjoy a special time together.
You are invited to make plans to celebrate the 3rd Annual Candlelight Christmas Eve Service. This year, Celebration! Church Ottawa will be hosting the event in their room at Saint Paul University (L120).
The theme will be ‘Christmas For Us.’ It will feature music from a combined-church band and stories that the whole family will enjoy. More details can be found online by visiting either church’s website or the Christmas Eve Service Facebook Event (www.facebook.com/CelebrationChurchOttawa/events).
