RON FARMER AND ELLORIE MCKNIGHT

Photography by Ellorie McKnight and Ron Farmer.

Ellorie’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Biology have taken her to some incredibly beautiful places to do fieldwork over the past few years. A combination of work and pleasure travel and a desire to capture it all on film have encouraged her to shoot images that represent both the fragility of the environment and the emotions they inspire. Her exhibit will include photographs from South-West Greenland, the St-Elias Range in the Yukon, remote glacier valleys in Alaska and images from Yoho National Park in British Columbia.

This winter Ron was able to take some time away from his duties as owner/operator of The Green Door Restaurant to travel and live in India. He has chosen a few photos from that journey as compositions that reflect calm within a crowded, yet collision-free chaos.
